Professional Development Workshops
As a NASA Master Educator, Laura provides professional development (PD) training workshops for educators resulting in teachers earning six professional development credits toward their yearly PD credit requirement. Topics are varied and include, but are not limited to: “How to utilize Universal Instructional Design in your classroom,” “Climate Change,” “Gravity and Black Holes,” “Pollinators,” “Planetary Science Topics,” “Earth Science Topics,” “NASA missions,” “Astrobiology and the Search for Life,” and etc. Laura’s science knowledge is extensive and she will be happy to provide teacher training workshops that are tailored to your school’s curriculum. All of the workshops provide educators with a comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter being presented which enables educators to more effectively communicate the basic concepts to their students.
